Hello!

I’m Renee, mom to five-year-old B. We’re from a somewhat rural community in southeastern Michigan, and we like it that way, but we tend to travel a lot between our three neighboring counties, too. Lots of people to see and places to go! Between managing a laser-engraving shop and running picnic 8 / design by reneep, and then schoolwork (college at a part-time level is much more affordable, but it sure does make it drag out for a long time.), my schedule tends to stay pretty full. Add a child into the mix, and all of a sudden it’s become a 3-ring circus! But never fear, technology is here to save the day. I live by the Internet, my phone, and my car .. without those three things, we’d be lost for sure.

If I had to pick one parenting goal, and that’s it, I’d want B to be well-rounded. I want him to be healthy, to understand the value of money, to appreciate music, to find an equal love for playing outside and playing video games, to respect his friends and superiors. These things won’t come easy, but hey, might as well put my best effort forth. I’ll be writing here about new tools I find to help me accomplish those goals, whether they’re online or only found in offline reality, and I’ll hope you’ll stick around to find out what I discover next. :)
